Got a great new gallery I call "the LBD" or "the Little Black Dress" up in the MEMBERS area. Just $14.95 to join and hundreds and hundreds of pix, hours of video, screensavers and more! This set was shot by a former PWI editor-in-chief at a wrestling convention in NJ. He really should be behind a camera I think, instead of just writing, or on top of writing anyway. He got some really great shots here, by the pool, on the patio, by the gazeebo! Sometimes a simple plain black dress is all you really need!
Had a great time on Evan Ginzburg's new talk show "Legends TV", which premiered Sat May 25th at www.madhousetv.com. Show is co-hosted by Steve Ludwig and as well as me, dancersinger Arlene NG, Comedian Neko White, poet Jon Winell and house band Edwin Vazquez Musica were in the house. Carrying on the eclectic mix as Evan likes to do on his long-running show "Legend's Radio". You can see the show at this link, or on www.madhousetv.com. Check this link on http://legendstv.net. I did some posing, brought my Ms Olympia medals, some of my magazines, and my newest 8x10s. It was so cool to Evan to have me on his debut show.
Then up to the NYPRO, where I caught up with one of the most legendary female bodybuilders of all time, Bev Francis. She most famously finished runner up in both 1990 and 1991 in the Ms Olympia contest, and was inducted into the IFBB Hall of Fame in 2000. A true pioneer of the business, its always so good to see her. She also starred as the counterpoint to Rachel McLish (Ms Olympia 1980) in the female bodybuilding film "Pumping Iron 2". Its a really an entertaining film, and of course is the sister film to "Pumping Iron" which starred Arnold Schwarzennegger and Lou Ferrigno.
The following weekend, I attended the Toronto Pro Supershow at the Toronto Metro Convention Center, and I'm very glad I did. I saw my old friend Bill Geiger who had become the editor-in-chief of MuscleMag after Bob passed way last April 2011, and he invited me to come over to the MuscleMag booth. Bill had also written my first big article in "Muscle&Fitness", which he called "Thunder Bay Bombshell". At the booth, I saw Bob's old friend Gary Bartlett, who used to write the "Canadian Corner" of MuscleMag. Gary had reported in MuscleMag when I won the Middleweight division of the Canadian Championships, which allowed me to turn professional in the IFBB. I had with me my first MuscleMag cover (I had brought it to the Legends TV filming the week before), and so Gary snapped a pic of me holding it by the MuscleMag banner. At the time I had no idea what a monumental and sad day last Sunday June 2 was. As it turns out, its the last time I'll ever be at a MuscleMag booth. Unforunately Robert Kennedy Publishing has gone out of business. MuscleMag and Bob Kennedy played a large part of my life, and so I've written up a bit of a tribute here. Its been a rough year and a half for bodybuilding as it has been known over the past three and some decades. I've posted a photo of me and Bill by the booth as well.
"It was heartbreaking enough when my old friend and supporter Bob Kennedy passed away last April 2012, but there's more sad news to report, as Robert Kennedy Publishing has closed its doors today, Friday June 7th, 2013.
Once the leading fitness magazine/book authority, Robert Kennedy and MuscleMag International Incorporated, carried on its mission of extending health and fitness through inspirational articles and pictorials from their headquarters on 6465 Airport Rd, Mississauga Ontario CANADA for almost 4 decades.
I loved to go past the office and visit Bob anytime I was in the Toronto area, and he always took time out for me, either to take me out for a lunch full of gossip and laughter, or to sit at his huge desk (always cluttered with papers and books! lol) in his office and catch up on old times and the newest gossip. He would tell me about his meager beginnings, how he started what was to become MuscleMag International from nothing but a small paper fitness mag but through hard work, dedication, and faith created his huge publishing empire. Bob's premise was to never give up, to persevere and any obstacle could be shot down, and any goal could be reached. After I'd feel incredibly happy and good about myself (Bob would always say the sweetest things to me, tell me what a star I was, that I was the best, that I had the fullest muscle bellies, lol, on and on, he was always so full of sweet sayings and compliments) Bob would fill my arms with his newest magazines and books, and sign them with some cool little ditto or motto to "Melseyyyyyyyyyy"which was his pet name for me (with the y's descending the page!), and then I'd be on my way, always the richer, wiser, and better for knowing him.
Bob featured me in his magazines countless times over the years, from covers, to training articles, swimsuit editions, big bikini spreads. He honored me last in his 30th anniversary edition by including me in his list of "Best Female Faces" of the past 30 years in the fitness industry. With so many beautiful women in fitness, this was quite the accomplishment.
After Bob passed I would still stop by the office to pay my regards, and to say hello to Bob's best friend Johnny Fitness, and his head writer Bill Geiger (pictured here at the MuscleMag booth last weekend June 1st at the Toronto Pro Supershow). I'd look at Bob's artwork, beautiful oil paintings which were all over the walls (these first two pix are me beside the office last Jan 2013 with Bob's painting of his close friend Arnold Schwarzenneger), and do my best to feel Bob's presence in those hallowed halls, offices, and cubicles, to feel the bitter-sweet aura of times past and memories never forgotten.
In January there were already signs of the decline, with there now being only one floor to MuscleMag headquarters, the top floor had been vacated and renters were being sought after in order to ease the financial load. Unfortunately without Bob at the helm, MuscleMag could not stay afloat. I'm sure everyone left at MusceMag after Bob's passing did their best to keep the business running, but there are few men as savvy, smart, and determined as Mr Robert Kennedy. Were Bob still alive, I'm sure his namesake would still be alive and kicking. It's another sad day in the world of fitness and bodybuilding, with in the past 14 months Bob Kennedy, Nasser El Sonbaty, Joe Weider, and now Robert Kennedy Publishing have all passed away.
Thank you Bob for the beautiful memories, and for finding me worthy of the pages of your MuscleMag International.
Lastly, here's where you can find me this weekend:

Im back in Canada for the BIG Toronto Pro Supershow Bodybuilding and Fitness Championships! The event runs Fri May 31 till Sun June 2, and I'll be taking part of CPW wrestling show on Sat June 1 at 2 pm by the Expo Stage. I'll have my calendars and 8x10s ready to autograph for you at the CPW tables earlier in the day, 9 am till 1 pm. So come on out and say hello!
Then the after party is at Blue Suede Sue's in Mississauga, check out the poster!
Hope to see you all there!
I've had a very very eventful two weeks, and the next two are going to be CRAZY!
First off at SLAMFEST in Cookeville TN, I posted one of my biggest victories yet, when I got the pin on 3 time NWA Women's Champion Tasha Simone. Tasha is a long time veteran of pro wrestling, and is known as being tough as nails, taking on men and women alike. So I was truly feeling good about myself after coming out of that one with the win. We exchanged moves, pins, blows, and even took it outside the ring onto the concrete, where she bodyslammed me, and then i paid her paid with a backdrop onto the concrete floor. I am sure she is still feeling it!
This Saturday May 25th, I'm going to be a busy bee as well: Check out this clip here, which is the introduction clip to my friend (and Assoc Prod of "The Wrestler" film that brought Mickey Rourke's career back to life):
I'll be at Evan's studio on Long Island for Evan Ginzburg's Legends TV premiering this Sat at www.madhousetv.com at 11AM. I've done Evan's radio program "Legends Radio" several times, so its an honor to be included on his debut TV show! I'm also in an upcoming film directed/produced by Evan called "The Stage is An Altar". This is a very interesting documentary style film, that should be ready to go sometime in early 2014.
Later that night on May 25th, I will be attending the NYPRO! Check out the flyer for full information.
Then the next weekend I will be in Toronto for the Toronto ProSuperShow. And on June 1st at 2 pm at the Canadian Expo Center I'll be wrestling. I plan to have a great couple of weekends coming up seeing old friends from competition, and magazine writers and photographers. I'm dieting and training hard right now, and it feels good to be back in the gym everyday, pushing those weights around and hitting cardio HARD!
For full details check out their website: http://www.torontoprosupershow.com/
And MEMBERS! Enjoy the video clip that I've put up for you! Next update will be a super sexy gallery!
April 30, 2013
April has been one of the busiest, craziest months I have ever had! Tons of travelling from one coast to the other, but it was all such a good time.
I was up in NJ/NY area for WrestleMania, and after working Wrestlecon, my old friend Kevin Nash invited me to work his big mania party at Hotel Pennsylvania. It was a very chill setup, kind of like another convention, only at 11 pm at night till 3 am and with a live band and bar. It was really rocking! All in all the weekend was really fantastic, and it was so good to bump into old friends and people I worked at WWE such as Molly Holly, Dolph Ziggler, Zac Ryder, Jack Swagger, Mickey James, Serena, Beth Phoenix, and so many other WWE/TNA superstars. So many interesting characters! I even bumped into Trish at the WWE afterparty, this year she was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame and gave a very thoughtful and touching speech where she thanked her fellow competitors. Very cool that even in her success she did not forget the other women wrestlers she worked with (Molly Holly, Jacqueline Moore, Ivory, Victoria, and Mickey James) while attaining her fame in the WWE . She also thanked her husband (who was at that time her boyfriend) for standing by her during this time, and giving her the support she needed to do so well. Very often you see the situation the opposite way around, and it was very cool that she had such a loving partner keeping her grounded and safe so she could focus on the very demanding, exhausting but exciting life of a professional wrestler. Trish and I both modeled for MuscleMag International as well, so we have a nice friendly rapport due to a long history. Its always good to see her.
The next weekend I went to Vegas for CAC, and took part in another Vendetta Pro show, run by "Rock of Love" Billy Blade. I was part of a 10 woman elimination tag match, and was one of the final 3 after getting superkicked by Santana after she shook me up with a slap to the face and a spinning head scissor from the tree of woe. I worked with a lot of new girls from Canada for this match, and it really was a lot of fun. The crowd was very entertained by the match, and we all got very high compliments. Ivory was in the crowd and loved it as well. Loved seeing her and Molly Holly, they are both such great examples of women wrestlers/athletes who look great but also are incredibly talented athletes who busted their butts to be great in the ring, not just relying on their looks to make it. Vegas is ALWAYs a good time! I really needed a nice vacation, and this sure was it! Beth Phoenix was also at the convention with Edge, and Ron Hutchinson who trained the two of them, and Ive been friends with for some time gave a very informative seminar.
Then last weekend I was in Ft Lauderdale for Battling Bombshells where I paired up with former ECW/WWE superstar Big Vito vs the Peurto Rican star La Rosa Negra and former ECW/WWE superstar Stevie Richards. This was an important match for me! It was my first time up against Rosa over 2 years since she cheated me in PR for Carlos Colon's WWC, and also always very exciting to work intergender matches. The fans really love girl/guy interaction, and I just had to taunt Stevie Richards! I got some good licks in on him, and even a bodyslam. I tossed him around pretty well after Vito softened him up. And I have to say I REALLY enjoyed it! I bet Stevie did too! And in the end, I came out on TOP, with the 1,2,3 on Rosa. I am looking forward to taking her on one on one for the Bombshells Championship.
Finally this Sat May 4th its SLAMFEST!!! HUGE show at Tennessee Tech in Cookeville TN: Tommy Dreamer, Rikishi, DDP, Jake the Snake, Kevin Sullivan, Al Snow are all going to be wrestling. I will be taking on GA's Tiffany Roxx for the first time as well. And I plan to make it a night she won't soon forget! Show starts at 7 pm and you can get tickets ($10) by ringing 931-265-6507. Don't miss this show!!! This is a killer lineup! I will have 8x10s available, and as well I have a few 2013 calendars left. If you cant make the show, you can pick up my calendar in the STORE section of http://melissacoates.com/. Its really for a great cause, as I'm donating proceeds to Sandy Relief. For full details on SLAMFEST, go to http://www.slamfestcookevilletn.com/. You can check out the trailer here:
LAST but not least!!! MEMBERS, check out the white hot new gallery of me lounging in bed in white lace and gloves. Sometimes there's nothing better than putting on something pretty and lacey, and just taking the time to RELAX!
Tune in Wed night from 2 to 3AM (EST) for "True Opinion" radio show on 90.3 FM and online at WHCR.ORG. Its a live call- in show and I invite your questions, thoughts, comments, compliments lol, especially! :) 212-650-6903 is the number to call.
Hope to see you in TN! and I have other bookings coming up in MS as well. I post all this on my fb pages, twitter (@melissalcoates), my mailing list and my yahoo fanclub. In the members area, I have 2 new video updates for you! One is a wrestling match from "Ladymania" last year in Ottawa Ontario. It was sweet being back in Canada and performing with fellow Canuks. I travelled to the show with some sweet girls like Leah Van Dutch, Jewells-Malone, and then at the show watch me take on my BIGGEST opponent yet, Ms Persephone Vice~ this girl is over 6 feet tall! And what a match we put on! See the WRESTLING area of the MEMBERS section for this match, as well as many others from prior updates
As well in the VIDEO area of the members site, is a clip of me in contest shape, after I got 5th runner up at the Ms International a few years back. A lot of my look today is a softer more fitnessy look, but I did compete very successfully as a professional bodybuilder, and was able to get very lean and hard while putting on a lot of muscle size. I kind of miss those days, but I do thank god I have the genetics I have. I can easily put muscle back on, so who knows??? Maybe I'll hit the stage again sometime soon! :)
And in the GALLERY area of the MEMBERS section, also check out some super sexy lingerie shots! You will LOVE these!
Enjoy this HUGE MEMBERS update! 2 video clips and a gallery just for you! Its only $14.95 to join
Also check out these two new 8x10s in the STORE! $10 each if in US/CAN, $12.50 INTERNATIONAL.
I also have a few of my 2013 "I <3 NY" calendars avail. Show some support for Sandy Relief by picking up this great calendar that has 13 full page shots of me.
2 new videos in the members section and 1 new gallery.

Its only $25 and if you cant get it from me at The Big Event on Saturday (I'll be selling it there for $20) you can order it through my store here.
I've got a really beautiful and sexy Playboy style gallery up in the MEMBERS area. This set was shot just 2 weeks ago and I'm really decked out for this one. I'm wearing a bra and panty set from the world famous lingerie store on La Cienaga blvd in Los Angeles "Trashy Lingerie". This is the lingerie store that so many TV girls and models go shopping at, including Coco Austin (Ice T's wife and new star of "The Peep Show" while Holly Madison takes time off to have a baby), and Holly Madison go shopping at. My first lingerie spread in MuscleMag, Bob Kennedy (RIP Bob, love you) gave me cash to go shopping for lingerie at this store. He really loved their clothes and wanted me to be wearing really high quality lingerie. It was so sweet of him to send me shopping there. I'd have to say I like this outfit and look a little better this time around while modelling Trashy Lingerie, the funny thing is, its anything BUT trashy! lol, this stuff is high quality and very expensive! I spied some other nice outfits I'd like to pick up on my next trip out to California, so will def make a point of passing by the store again soon.
I hope you enjoy this short but sweet set, these were the 10 best of a 400 plus shoot
Hope to see you up in NYC!
February 9, 2013
Well, Whew! Where to start!!!???
I've had a busy two weeks in California where I did a hot new photoshoot (will post pix for next update), and as well spent a LOT of time in the ring. Last fri night Jan 25th, I helped "Rock of Love" Billy Blade win his match at the Vendetta Pro/Dragon Gate USA show in Santa Maria. And in the Battle Royale against several tough men, i was in the final four before being eliminated. The next night I became the newest member of The Scene, managed by PWI top 500 star Larry Dallas. New TnA Impact signee Brian Cage is also a part of the stable. The next day I was a guest on Ric Drasin's wrestling show "AfterBuzz". The following weekend I again managed Billy Blade to a win in "Teacher VS Student" Match. Sooo much fun rocking out with Billy!

And on Sun Feb 24th I return to the great white north for NWX ResurrXion "New Blood" at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 79 in Simcoe Ontario starring ECW/WWE Tommy Dreamer, WWE Legend Nicolai Volkoff, former TnA Knockout Jaime D and more. Its $8 for seniors and kids, and $12 for advance tickets (its $10 and $15 at the door, with family deals for $30). You can pick up tickets at Max Convenience Mart on 21 Colborne st, and at Kelley's of Simcoe on 49 Peel st. NOV 30, 2012
Well I've been on quite the winning streak as of late! I've got the 1,2,3 in my last 2 matches, one over new sensation Lisa Funk, and the other over a big tough girl also from Canada who goes by the name of Silvie Silver. Let me tell you, I plan on continuing the rivarly with BOTH these girls, so look for upcoming matches soon. They can only get rougher and tougher from here!
I've got another match tomorrow at the Sportsplex Center in Winchester VA. Its a great card with me taking on Tori "the Golden Ticket" as she calls herself, and former WWE star Carlito is in the house, and newly signed TnA IMPACT Gutcheck winner Christian York. I worked with Christian a couple years ago as a short lived group called "The IT Factor", and it brought me out to a lot of shows in the MD/VA region. Its good to be getting back out to those areas again.
I will also be back at LTW the next Sat Dec 8 in Fisherville VA along with former WWE star Matt Hardy, Playboy model turned wrestler Reby Sky, TnA IMPACT star Gunner (who I used to work with back at NWA:ANARCHY when he went by the name Shatter, the Univeral Soldier). For full details on bell-time, venues, and full cards see www.ltwentertainment.com
I will also be at a new women's league BLOW on Thurs Dec 6th at the SMG Sportsplex at 213 Durham Ave in Metuchan NJ, participating in the action and selling my autographed 8x10s, and have plans for a new 2013 calendar. Email me if you are interested. My 2012 calendar from last year did really well, so I'm hoping for the same this year. I will post full details re the shows in NJ shortly. I'm looking forward to bumping into one tough competitor who I tussled with 2 years ago in Puerto Rico for WWC. She goes by the name La Rosa Negra, and I'd have to say she is the toughest woman I've ever been in the ring with! I've been waiting 2 years for rematches with her (she beat me dirty!), and now its just a matter of time. I knew I'd catch up to her eventually.
Speaking of all women shows and La Rosa Negra, I'll also be competing at the all-women event "Bombshells and Jingle Bells" in Hollywood FL on Dec 15th. I will post full info for this show as well in the coming days.
Got a very appropriate and recent gallery up in the MEMBERS area......"Autumn in Central Park", which was shot about 4 weeks ago in NY's Central Park in the middle of the afternoon. The leaves were just the most beautiful and amazing colors, and it was just the perfect day to capture all the beauty....
Hope to see you at an event soon!

Welcome back to www.melissacoates.com!
I've been pretty busy the past few weeks doing appearances, shows and shoots! Did an AMAZING SHOOT up in Central Park a couple of weeks ago...its going towards my 2013 calendar, I'll be sure to let you know when its ready to order! And I will post a gallery from the shoot here on the site in the coming weeks. It was just the perfect autumn day in NYC. The leaves were turning all colors of yellow, orange, red and even hot pink! Was so beautiful! Needless-to-say I kinda made a spectacle of myself in the park, lol, there are so many people there and I am sure they found it amusing watching this big built blond woman posing in bikinis on such a cold fall day in the park. I think I gave them a little more than they were bargaining for that day in NYC!
Later that day I had a signing up at the CHILLER convention in parispany NJ. I saw with former WWE star and Playboy model Ashley Massaro, and across from me was Skreech from Saved by the Bell and also Ian Zeiring from the original Beverly Hills 90210. Really had a good time hanging out with everyone, sighing photos and meeting new people!
For this MEMBERS update, I have one big gallery made up of 2 lingerie outfits and a beautiful moss green sparkly bikini. I chose the best shots of each photo set, and altogether the 3 different outfits make one nice BIG update! I'm NAUGHTY in black lingerie, then NICE in my cream lingerie. Then just me being me in my bikini by the pool.
I ended up on top against my match with Lisa Funk in Harford KY for UCW. She's new to the game, but did put up a good fight. In the end I got past her cheating and gave her the faceplant for the win.
Nov 24th BIIIIG show starring former WWE stars Big Daddy V, Big Poppa Pump, The Boogeyman, Brett DiBiase, and more in Kosciusko Mississippi for Mississippi Championship Wrestling. The show is at the Attala County Coliseum on hwy 12 in Kosciusko MS. Belltime is 7:30.
Hope to see you soon at one of my appearances!

Oooooo, that water feeeels goooooood! In the 2nd gallery, I got a cute lil pair of jean shorts on, my sneakers and halter top for a quick bicep workout in the gym. Doesn't take too long for me to get a good pump going, but the photographer managed to capture a few cute shots.
And this month, I'm on pg 138 of the September issue of PLANET MUSCLE, and so honored to be one of the women making the "LABOR DAY BUTT-A-THON" feature! Thanks to the Planet Muscle readers and editor/publisher Jeff Everson (once married to 6 time Ms Olympia and a big influence on me, Cory Everson) for including me in this issue. Its always a pleasure to be recognized in an international publication for my hard work.
And here's the issue cover and the shot that made the mag here.

Welcome back to www.melissacoates.com!
I've been enjoying a bit of time off to enjoy the summer and recharge my batteries! But that doesn't mean I'm scrimping on the MEMBERS area for all of you!!!! This update I've got another "Bewitching in Black" gallery for you...complete with a cat-o-nine tails for a prop, and then some cute shots with a fedora at the end. I'm usually not covering up my big head of hair, but this was the PERFECT hat, so i made an exception!
I'm still the Brew City Wrestling Ladies Champion, and will be defending the belt sometime soon, most likely the end of September. I will have some shows in the North Carolina area coming up soon as well. I will post my Brew City Championship match in the MEMBERS area the next update in about 2 weeks, but in the meantime, please enjoy this intergender tag match brought to you by TitleMatch Wrestling. For their debut show, I teamed up with ECW Original Christian York against ManScout and his young parnter Kyle. Christian is currently on the new WWE dvd, ECW Unreleased Volume 1. He is best known for being one part of the hugely successful ECW tag team known as York and Matthews. I hope you will agree i make a hotter tag team partner for Christian than Joey Mathews did LOL
Check out the match here:
Come back soon!
Well I have had a very very busy week! Lots of new photo shoots, including a calendar, plus even a new CHAMPIONSHIP BELT! :)
Last Friday in West Allis WI, I beat Stacy Shadows fair and square with a small package from foiling her suplex attempt to win the Brew City Ladies Championship! Stacy is a big strong girl, with quite the reputation in the MidWest. In our first matchup, it had been pretty physical as well, I took some pretty brutal moves from Stacy, including a vicous big boot to the head. But I managed to get back on top, and hit the FacePlant on her. But her friends got involved and caused a DQ, so I won the match, but couldn't be given the belt off the DQ. So this was a sweet victory last Friday in West Allis! I will be defending the championship soon, and I plan on keeping it!
The next day I did a shoot with Rob Meyers in Chicago. Rob and I have turned out some really nice work in the past, so here's a new gallery from you to you! In the MEMBERS area! Just $14.95 a month to join. Hours of video and hundreds and hundreds of pix!
I've got quite the schedule coming up in Sept/Oct/Nov all over the States and a couple of dates in Canada, and possibly even a tour of Japan with some big wrestling stars! Will keep you updated here on www.melissacoates.com, my fanclub, on my facebook pages, and on twitter at melissalcoates. You can find the links on my HOME page.
See you at an appearance near YOU!
June 11 2012
This Fri June 15th! Its the REMATCH! I take on Brew City Champion Stacy Shadows again for her championship! I beat her last time, but was robbed of the title belt due to interference so I had to win by DQ instead of the pin I would have gotten if her goons hadnt got involved. This time its just me and Stacey!

Last weekend, I enjoyed 3 days in the Motor City, Detroit at the Motor City Comiccon. I also had a ball managing my old friend and former TnA Knockout Jaime D last Sat night at Big Time Pro Wrestling in Redford MI. The next day Jaime and I tagged up against Japan standout Hailey Hatred and her partner Detroit's own KC Lofton. I am proud to say Jaime and I make an AWESOME team (Pinup Strong Version 2 lol!), and we got the best of Hatred and Lofton when Jaime D took out bruiser Hatred so I could get the Faceplant finish on Lofton for the 1,2,3 as I wrestled as the MCWA Bombshell Champion.

Come and check out this amazing artist, plus come say hello to me! I'd love to see you!
And keeping with my tribute to Robert Kennedy of MuscleMag International, here's my very first article written about me in MuscleMag International after I turned pro by winning the Middleweight title at the Canadian Championships. Just a beautiful article written about me called "North of Superior" which is a play on my hometown of Thunder Bay Ontario Canada, which is right on the tip of Lake Superior. Bob really was clever with words...and all these amazing photos in this article were taken by Bob himself! In my last update I wrote a Tribute to Robert Kennedy where I go into detail about our first photo shoot together, and these photos published in this article were produced during this magical shoot by his home in Georgetown Ontario. Bob was such a talented man, and these photos are my best. So important to have great chemistry and trust between the model and the photographer, and it sure shows!
I've also included the Swiss version of this article as well! This article was shorter than the North American version, but the photos are page size and different than the ones in the english version. I thought it would be fun to include both! MuscleMag is a huge magazine with an international distribution, I even had features in the Greek and Mexican Mags as well. I remember one Christmas, the next door neighbor's daughter telling my family how she had seen the cover shown here in the window of a store in Mexico! LOL, made for some very interesting Christmas Eve talk!
Hope to see you up in NJ!

ROBERT KENNEDY (ROBERT KENNEDY PUBLISHING, MUSCLEMAG AND MORE) 1938-2012
Robert Kennedy was just simply an amazing man, friend, entrepeneur, visionary, and nothing short of a legend in the health and fitness business. To me Robert was known as "Bobbeeeeeee" or "Bob-bay" and to Bob, well he nick-named me "Melseeeeeey".
The first time I met Bob was at the Canadian Championships, where I won the Middleweight title which permitted me to turn pro. He was very charming, and what you would call "a tall cool drink" with a long lean physique, his trademark wild reddish-brown hair, flair for fashion, and sparkle in his blue eyes. Before this initial meeting, Bob and I had chatted a bit on the phone. He actually called the gym I was training at! I was so excited! The first phone call was especially memorable to me because while discussing photo shoots, Bob had advised me that "if you really want to make the big bucks, you've got to wear a thong". LOL! Savvy businessman indeed!
Bob seemed pleased when he met me in person at the show, although he had expected me to be taller from the photos he had seen of me already (I had already been blessed enough to have shots published in other fitness magazines at that time), and we made a date to meet at his own home in Georgetown Ontario to do a shoot the next morning. How exciting, and how amazingly personal of him! To have the owner/creater/publisher of MuscleMag himself, invite me personally over to his home and he was going to take the photos himself! It was all so amazing and so unexpected that Bob would be so friendly and down to earth. When I look back nowadays on that time, it's so magical: a warm happy memory of bright sun, cool breezes, blue pool water, the flash of the camera, the smell of posing oil. And Bob Kennedy. Kind, charismatic, and a cut-up.
I was careful not to mess up my tan the night before (Bob advised me not to shower in hot water), packed up my thongs (LOL!!!), my bikinis and cute outfits, and the next morning my friend Shan (who had come in from my hometown of Thunder Bay Ontario to see me compete), and I made the trip to Bob's home. And what a beautiful home it was, surrounded by big fields full of long grass, cat-tails and yellow flowers! Bob gave us a bit of a tour of his home, showing us his amazing artwork (how talented can one person be!?) and then showing me where to change and get ready after offering me a little something to eat in his kitchen. Bob and I picked a turquoise suit which popped against my dark competition tan and my blond hair. And then Bob led me out to the pool, and we began the process. Bob took great care with his work, giving me direction on poses, setting up creative shots, and often times twisting himself into a pretzel to get just the right angle. He directed my friend to use a gold reflector to shine warm golden light on my face and the bodypart he wanted to draw attention to in the particular shot (very often my thonged behind!!! lol) in order to capture the most alluring photos. Bob was so sweet and endearing, he nicknamed my friend "Gold" for her work. "Come on, Gold, shine the light a little more there. Yes, yes that's it! Good job Gold". Bob, for all his accomplishments and fame, was incredibly "normal" and disarmingly friendly with his habit of giving people nicknames. And Gold kept telling me what a Cinderella story this whole thing was. "Pretty Woman, Pretty Woman" she kept saying, the famous Julia Roberts/Richard Gere movie with the fairy tale ending. Only this wasn't a movie, this was real life, and I was in the starring role... a shootergirl/trainer/amateur bodybuilder from the rough northern Canadian city of Thunder Bay being photographed for the biggest fitness magazine out there.
I learned so much about fitness modelling that day, about how important every little twist of your body is, and how important every little gesture and angle can be. Twist this way, twist that way, just a little bit more....lift this bodypart up just a bit, just a bit more... hold your ribs in and up, flex this muscle this way, raise your chin up this high, nope nope, move it just a bit more to the left...From Bob I learned the importance of eye contact in modelling, to "smile with your eyes", to show that energy and fire in your eyes that connects with the person looking at your photo. I have never forgotten that, and to this day remember Bob's instructions everytime I do a shoot.
We took a lot of shots by the pool, took a few by his treehouse, some in the drive way, then headed down the gravel road to take some shots in the long grass and yellow flowers of the surrounding fields. These shots were just gorgeous. Bob always went the extra mile to get "the shot". These photos from this September day became the story "North of Superior" (a play on my hometown Thunder Bay, which is just north of Lake Superior in Ontario Canada), which was Bob's first big article on me in MuscleMag International.
From there, Bob and I formed a close and enduring friendship.
When I went on to win my pro debut, the Jan Tana, Bob was so supportive and truely happy for me. I think he was more happy for me than even I was! He gave me exceptional coverage again in MuscleMag with the article "Melissa, the Girl Who Did Everything Right", complete with more carefully chosen photos to give me the best possible promotion. During my competition days there were 3 MuscleMag covers (the cover no less!!!!), training articles, swimsuit and lingerie spreads, calendars, ads Bob so generously posted for me to help me sell my 8x10s, and sometimes even the occasional shopping spree. Bob was so sweet, so thoughtful, and so generous. He was wonderful in supplying me copies of photos and magazines I was in, and would write a sweet letter everytime he sent a parcel. I have saved everyone of his letters, and am so glad I did.
I owe Robert Kennedy so much. His magazine coverage of me in my early days really helped establish my place in the pro bodybuilding/fitness world. And even though over the years I veered off from the fitness world and did other things such as extreme dodgeball and pro wrestling, we still kept in touch. Bob would include me in his magazines MuscleMag and Oxygen where he could. He ran an amazing 14 page swimsuit spread of me in MuscleMag a few years back, and included me in his 3 Decade Anniversary Special Edition MuscleMag as one of the prettiest "Top Female Faces of the past 3 Decades". In the past couple years, Bob and I had rekindled our friendship, keeping a lot more in touch than we had during my time training at WWE developmentals. (I was in the WWE pay per view "BackLash" 2005, and trained at WWE developmentals Ohio Valley Wrestling and Deep South). I had made a couple of trips past the MuscleMag headquarters when in Toronto, and enjoyed chatting with Bob, catching up on old times, and seeing what new books he was publishing at Robert Kennedy Publishing. Funny thing about Bob: he wasn't big on sentimentalism. I would get a little too gushy for his tastes once in awhile chatting about memories and how kind he had been to me, and he would say "Girl, you are getting sentimental" and want me to change the subject. Bob didn't need his ego stroked, or to hear what a wonderful person he was. He was so much about helping other people, his concerns weren't about himself.
The second last time I was by MuscleMag, Bob showed me his room of paintings. Bob's works included amazing renditions of sports, political, film icons and sex symbols such as Marilyn Monroe, Pam Anderson, Babe Ruth and James Dean. I always left Bob's office with magazines he had archived that had articles about me in them, and an armful of his newest books, complete with such sweet inscriptions as "Hey Mel - You're the Best! Thanx thanx thanx, Love Bob". He was always very complimentary when he saw me, would make me laugh by his careful observations and descriptions of my body lines and muscle bellies. He always told me that I was a star, even when I didn't feel much like one. That's another special thing about Bob, the man never once said a cruel or angry word to me, even when I possibly deserved it. He was class and composure and culture all the way through.
I've had my ups and downs the past few years, and Bob was always the kind and loyal friend. He wanted to see me do well again. After one of these visits about a year ago, Bob encouraged me to pull out my old competition bikinis and hit the stage so he could feature me in MuscleMag again. To be honest, I wasn't so sure about this idea but I told him I'd think about it. Then I got busy with my own father's health falling rapidly and his passing away late last September 2011, so I didn't have much communication with Bob the past several months, just enough here and there to say hello, hear about various good and bad things that were going on in his life, some of them involving skin cancer which he said he had had removed. We exchanged holiday voicemails, and he was so kind and caring about my father's passing, and so empathetic due to his own tragedies with his son and his own family members recently passing away. Bob was a trooper. He was an amazingly accomplished man, but for each blessing in his life, Bob had terrible tragedies as well. But Bob remained strong and positive through each one, and taught me another important life lesson: to keep my chin up, and "keep on keeping on". To take what life gave you, and just keep rolling with the punches. Bob was the "King of Keeping On". No one could do it with a better attitude than he could despite terrible things that had happened to him.
Just this Easter Sunday, I was doing some spring cleaning and found a box full of photos...shots of me from photo shoots, competitions, guest posings, conventions, parties... There were many, many shots of Bob and me together, smiling, laughing, doing goofy poses. The memories are so vivid and so sweet, and they made me realize how much I missed having him as a bigger part of my life. I was so inspired and so excited! I wanted to get in touch with Bob that very minute to let him know that I had had a change of heart about getting actively involved again in the fitness business after all. But this was Easter Sunday, and that Monday was Easter Monday so I was going to have to be patient (which is not one of my better qualities) and wait till Tuesday morning to give him the news. That Sunday night I had the best night's rest that I had had in months, since my father died. I was feeling so good about the next step I was about to take in my life, and so happy because I knew Bob would be taking those steps with me. So I resolved to get in touch with him that Tuesday first thing in the morning as soon as the phones opened at MuscleMag International. I wanted to tell him that with him in my corner, I felt like I could take on the world.
Unfortunately the very next day, Easter Monday, I read on Bob's wife Tosca's blog that Bob had developed lung cancer the past few months and was no longer responding to treatment. That that Easter weekend, they had had a big 4 day get together at their home with Bob's closest family and friends, and even Arnold Schwarzenegger had made a special trip up to Mississauga to visit Bob on Easter Sunday. There's a beautiful shot of Bob and Arnold that Tosca posted, and the old Bob Kennedy sparkle and fire is still showing in Bob's eyes. Bob was so strong and so brave, and he maintained till the very end.
On Tuesday I called the MuscleMag office and got as much information as I could. I sent Bob's wife an email in the hopes of talking to Bob, but she responded he could no longer speak and was heavily medicated. She did read my messages to him, for which I am so thankful. I sent another email with a photo attachment of me and Bob at my first Olympia where I placed 9th, And I sent a beautiful bouquet of 18 roses: 9 yellow and 9 pink, which thankfully got to Bob around noon on April 12. Later that evening, Bob passed away. I am grateful to Tosca for commumicating with Bob for me. I feel so terrible that I fell out of touch with him while I was getting over my father's death. I just didn't want to call Bob and trouble him with my own problems. I so wish things had been different.
So Bob, I know you are out there, and I know you're listening. I know you hate it when I get sentimental, but I'm going to get sentimental here, and I know you will forgive me for it just this one time...I am sorry I didn't have the chance to talk to you one last time while you were still with us, to tell you how much you meant to me, to tell you what a difference you made in my life. To tell you only you could inspire me the way you could, and you still do. I will always remember the love and understanding you gave me, the conversations we had, and the times we spent together. Those were some of most special and pure times of my life. Memories of you are shining in my mind like sunlight dancing off diamonds, blinding in their brilliance. And some memories are gentle and hazy and dreamy, as if softened by the golden light coming off your reflector.
I love you

What a great but crazy busy weekend I had last week!
First I headed up to NY March 30th to take part in my friend Evan Ginzburg's upcoming film "The Stage is an Altar". This film is a follow-up to Evan's current award winning documentary "Theresa Sareo: Alive Again" which tells the amazing story of the singer coming back against the odds after being hit by an automobile. "The Stage is an Altar" includes all kinds of artists from pop folk singers to jazz/R&B singers to hiphop artists, to poets, models and actors and even a pro wrestler/female bodybuilding champion and actress named Melissa Coates! Evan is best known for his radio program "Legends Radio" and for being the Associate Producer of the Mickey Rourke comeback movie "The Wrestler". I was filmed speaking to his adult education class about health and fitness pro bodybuilding and pro wrestling. I showed the class my Ms Olympia medals, my magazine spreads from MuscleMag International, Flex, Muscle& Fitness to Pro Wrestling Illustrated, answered their questions, and posed for them. Even hit the gym for a bit during the interview, wearing a black dress and boots none-the-less! Cant wait to see how this film turns out, and I am very honored Evan has included me in his presentation. I will keep you updated on its first screening. In the meantime I have to congratulate Evan on the success of "Theresa Sareo: Alive Again", which has been selected for screening at the 2012 New York International Film Festival in Los Angeles. The film also just won the "2012 Gasparilla Film Festival's Audience Choice: Best Documentary, and has been praised by HBO Documentary Films. Congratulation Evan! I can't think of anyone who deserves it more!
Later that night I did Amber O'Neal and Angel Orsini's show "Fire & Ice" and you can take a listen on www.247radio.com.
Then I was up early the next morning to do a calendar shoot with a fine political/celebrity and physique photographer by the name of Laurence Agron. We turned out some just beautiful pix, and you can see 4 of them here on this update page. If you want to see some other amazing shots, you can see them in the MEMBERS area. If you aren't a member yet, its just $14.95 a month for 2 or 3 monthly updates of either a wrestling match, posing video, or new smoking photo gallery. For more of Larry's fine work, check out www.larryagron.com.
Also in the MEMBERS area, I've posted the match where I won the MCWA Bombshell Champion!!! Last month I took on former MCWA women's champion Arella Angel...a tough competitor trained by ROH's Truth Martini. She really gave me a run for my money, but watch the match and see how I ended up on top!
And this Sat April 14th, you can catch me in action at East Coast Pro Wrestling at the Sports Arena at 620 Middle Country Rd in St James NY 11780. Doors open at 6 pm, bell time is 7:30. March 2, 2012
I'm back on a crazy schedule of travelling and wrestling and doing appearances and photo shoots! Can't complain, its great to be busy! Last weekend I wrestled for UCW along with Big Poppa Pump, Buff Bagwell, Matt Hardy, Lance Hoyt, Chase Stevens, and more. I took on Matt's girlfriend Reby Sky, and I was surprised! Matt's years of experience has got this girl performing way ahead of her time! www.ucwtv.com is their website.
The next day I was off to NASW in Reidsville NC where it was "The Rematch" between me and Chicago's The Great Cheyenne. The first time I met this big punishing scary wrestler was exactly a year ago during a tour to Nepal! I got the upper hand in a 3 way with Britain's Faith LeHaine and Cheyenne, but it was Faith, the smaller girl, that I pinned. So I had something to prove here on U.S. ground. The two of us battled back and forth, but in the end Cheyenne DQ'd herself by pulling out a plastic bag from her chest and trying to suffocate me with it!!! Just crazy! So far its me 2, The Great Cheyenne 0. But I'm sure she will be looking to even that score. I know right now she's trying to lure me up to Chicago to continue the feud. I'm game, and maybe this time she won't try to cheat!
This weekend I'm back up in the Detroit area for MCWA Bombshell Title Bout with the current Bombshell's Champion Arella Angel. She's trained by ROH's Truth Martini, so I am sure this is not going to be easy! Come to The ARC Hall in Wyandotte MI at 4212 13th st (zip is 48192) and see former WWE Star Carlito, the joint rosters of MPW, MCWA and W.H.O.M for a show aptly called "Carlito's Way". Doors open at 7 pm, Bell time is 7:30 pm. See mcwaonline.weebly.com for full details.
The following week I'm in Queens NY for The Big Event 2 at the Courtyard Marriot 5 min from LaGuardia airport. Come and get your autographed pic and posed pix with me, Bobby Lashley, The Nasty Boys, Jim Neidhart, Angelina Love, Melina, Maryse, John Morrison, The BoogeyMan, Tugboat, Shelly Martinez and so many more! See www.sportsfanpromotions.com for more details.

I'm back in the ring, and causing problems as usual!

And a very entertaining clip from a custom video I did for a fan in the MEMBERS VIDEO area. The client ordered a 30 min video, and I've put up a 10 min snippet here for you! Watch me be the tough girl, smoking a cigar while I pose my chest and biceps, and tell the story of showing a couple of guys who's boss in an imaginery bar fight. The client had actually witnessed this years before in a bar in PA, and wanted me to re-enact the scenario he saw. I love doing entertaining videos such as this, and its just an example of the kinds of fantasy videos I can turn out for you! Contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in having me put one of these together for you!

A special feature of the Nov 2011 edition is the PWI FEMALE 50, and the mag has a nice full page photo and write up about my wrestling exploits in the past year. Such an honor to be included with the creme de la creme of women wrestlers across North America! I'm on page 78 and I've included a scan here.
As well I'm noted in Krew Cuts (p. 17) as being a stand out for "twisted steel and sex appeal". LOL!

HUGE members update this time around! A supersexy gallery I call "Bikini'n'Graffiti" with 50 HOT photos of me in a peach and rust bikini, paired with a black leather biker jacket and black mid calf high pointy stiletto Harley Davidson boots. My friend Green Greenland shot this set, he also shot another very popular gallery for my Valentine's Day gallery a few months back. We both just about froze doing this shoot at 12 midnight after a Maryland Championship Wrestling show in Dundalk, MD. We did the shoot right outside the venue, so got some pretty cool shots on concrete steps, chain fences, dirty barrels and debris lying around the venue. I think this gallery is pretty artsy.
2 BIG wrestling matches in the members area from Classic Champsionship Wrestling from Ontario Canada.Back by popular demand! Watch the battle of the sexes as Melissa takes on Mike Atlantis in an intergender Money Match summer 2010. Big cash up for grabs as Mike and Melissa pose down to the delight of the crowd! And then battle it out in the ring with their wrestling moves. Guess who ends up the big winner?
Then in a Women's Tag Team Match, watch me and Holly Hilton take on the team of former TnA Knockout Jaime D and her partner Cherry Bomb! Some exciting action from some very well trained women in this match.
UPCOMING EVENTS and APPEARANCES include July 30 I will be back at ECPW! see www.ecpw1.com for full details.
Aug 5 and 6, I will be at the NWA Legends Convention in Atlanta GA! You can go to www.nwalegends.com for more info, and buy tickets from titlematchwrestling.com where I will be sitting at the Title Match Wrestling booth with Debra Marshall, Raven, and Manny Fernandez.

June 9, 2011
New York, New York
I love that city, concrete jungle that dreams are made of!
Worked back at ECPW for the first time in 2 years, and had a blast. Last time I was at ECPW I was Mile High Melissa and part of the Flyte Crew. This time I was plain ol' trouble maker me! :) And I play that equally as well as being the twisted flight attendant with her pilot bag of tricks ;)
I raised a little hell during the cage match between Vinny the Guido and ECPW Commissioner Thomas Coe. Neither one of these two are really trained as wrestlers, but they did put on a great show! You can check out the matches here in 2 parts on youtube:

I've got a super sexy gallery up in the MEMBERS area....this gallery was shot in the past 2 weeks! Brand spanking new! I went for something a little more romantic, by the big scenic window overlooking downtown Atlanta, with beautiful lacey curtains. And me in sapphire blue feeling kinda melancholy.......

The actual event takes place June 25th at 6 pm (doors open 5 pm) at Ketterlinus Gymnasium on 60 Orange St in St. Augustine FL. May 20, 2011
Well things are surrrre steaming up here on www.melissacoates.com! I have a very sweet rendition of one of my fitness mag cover shoots in the members area this month, me dressed in a very innocent pink gingham bra and panty set, and a killer pair of white gogo boots. The first time I wore this look was for my Muscular Development cover a few years back. The cover and 20 page shoot was done by fashion/glamor/physique photographer Per Bernal, and it is still one of my all time favorites. This photo set is pretty hot as well. Check it out and let me know how you like it.
Plenty of events coming up too. This Sat May 21 I will be working as Big Poppa Pump's valet (lol or should I say freak?) at Universal Championship Wrestling at the Lumpkin Country Middle School at 44 School dr in Dahlonega GA. Doors open at 6:30, show starts at 7:30. Buff Bagwell, The Masked Assassin, The Shooter, Lodi, and 2 of my old friends the Stray Cat Brodie Chase and The Feature Presentation Jeff Lewis from my old days at NWA ANARCHY will be in the house! Andy many others, so come out and see a great show!
June 4th I will be in NY for ECPW pro wrestling (www.ECWP1.com) along with TNA star Robbie E, Jeff Coleman, former WWE superstar Gene Snitsky, Vinny the Guido and commissioner Tommy C, and others. As a special addition WWE Diva and WWE Hall of Famer Sunny, TNA Knockout Rosita and I will be signing autographs and posing for photos at the Meet and Greet before the show, from 6 pm to 7:30 pm. April 30, 2011
Welcome back to www.melissacoates.com!
I've got a HUGE members update this time, 2 wrestling videos and a nice workout video of me at Bev Francis Gym in Long Island NY. Bev Francis of course was one of the most innovative and famed female bodybuilders of all time, she was renowned for having a great deal of muscle. Some considered it too much, but nonetheless it was amazing she packed so much muscle! When I was a kid I'd watch her compete at the Olympia, and it was just AMAZING. So it was cool to get to her and her husband and IFBB judge Steve Weinberger's gym and catch up on old times. So check out this great workout I did at their gym.
And I've got 2 matches up for you, a women's match and an intergender match for all you fans of watching me take on male opponents. I took on chauvenist Dan Da Man at 1,2,3 Count in Freehold NJ for FazooCrew, and showed him a thing or two about respect. Just take a listen to some of the ridiculous things he says to me before the match. He thought he had it all sewn up, but I showed him different.
The 2nd match is a really exciting 3 way from Maryland Championship Wrestling where I take on former WWE Women's Champion Mickey James, and former volleyball player Mia Yim. It's always good to see Mickey James again, I trained with her years back at OVW, and its so nice to see with all her success she is still the sweet girl she always was! Plus she's branched into country music, and I have to say it sounds great! Who would have ever thought?
I've also beefed up my store. Got 6 new 8 x 10s available, and am also offering custom photo and video sets for those of you who would like something special just for U! You pick the outfit, activity, let me know what you want to see me flex and pose, and I'll create something special just for you! Photo prices range from $15 to $20 each, and a 15 min video runs $100 to 175.
I am now offering a "TALK TO MELISSA" service! I often get alot of people trying to get a hold of me on facebook or on IM, and I am so sorry but I dont tend to have a lot of free time just to chat. So in order to help pay some bills, and offer fans a chance to have my undivided attention, I've decided to give this a whirl. You can book a time with me, and then we will chat either via cell or on skype. Head to my store for more details, or email me at email@example.com
Hope you enjoy the new update!
April 10, 2011
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING past 2 weeks! I had such a good time during the Wrestlemania Weekend, celebrating the weekend, seeing old friends, meeting new ones, and hanging out with the best fans in the world!
First: Friday night April 2nd I was one of only 2 female vendors invited to the Kevin Nash/Sean Waltman WM party! What a blast that was! Getting paid to party, what could be more fun? Sat was the Hall of Fame induction, and to see one of my favorite tag teams of all time, L.O.D be inducted was awesome! Whaaat a ruuuushhh! lol. Sean Michaels was inducted as well, and made such a beautiful speech, thanking his wife for understanding his life, and to his kids for "letting daddy play wrestler". It was so touching!
After that I went to the host hotel bar, and met up with some old friends from the WWE like Tommy Dreamer who now works for TNA, Dr Tom and Norman Smiley who train the WWE developmental students down in Tampa at Florida Championship Wrestling, Alica Fox, who is sooo sweet and I met right at the beginning of her career when she came to Deep South for a week's training on an exchange with OVW. I am so happy for her that she has done so amazingly well in the business, she really stood out to me as a sweet girl 5 years ago, and its so nice to see she is still the same sweet girl she ever was! So good to see her.
And I also finally met Stone Cold Steve Austin at the bar! Of course he was drinking beer! lol, and he was kind enough to chat with me for over 20 minutes. Really cool guy, very real, as I would expect him to have been. He asked me for some dieting tips...I'd love to train Stone Cold....how amazing would that be?!
Then the next day Wrestlemania Sunday, I worked at the WrestleReunion Convention where I bumped into my old friend Mickey James. I loooove that girl! Got a cute pic with her too. So bubbly and awesome, even with her current shoulder injury. What a trooper!
Then of course was the big show! AMAZING!
And after that the after party at the Hyatt.I again caught up with old friends from the WWE, and had a nice chat with Beth Phoenix. I got a pic of us together as well...this is a rare one, I don't think I've got any of me and her together till last week. I bumped into Dolph Ziggler and the Bellas and chatted with all of them for a bit too, and met Lucky for the first time. Very sweet guy I thought.
The WWE is a class act. Seriously every superstar acts with grace and diplomacy, and they all really stand out as STARS. I'm always so proud that I know so many of them because I have trained with a good deal of the current roster. And it always feels so good to see and hang out with them again. Here's hoping that will be on a more permanent basis sometime in the future.
And MEMBERS!!!! Got a RED HOT gallery up for you! Me in a sexy red with black lace bra and panty set. I hope this lights your fire!
March 25, 2011

Evan Ginzburg of Legends Radio and filmmaker Filip K. Kasperaszek present "A Story About Ian Night" at Gizzi's Cafe on Friday evening March 25th from 7pm to 11pm. He is suspicious that his girlfriend Mia (played by Zofia Nather) is cheating on him. In addition, Ian doesn't have a good relationship with his father, Steven (played by radio talk show host Evan Ginzburg of Legends Radio, Evan was also the Associate Producer on the Mickey Rourke film "The Wrestler"). It's a story about the escape from the restrictions in life.
The film is produced and directed by Filip K. Kasperaszek. Filip, also co wrote the screenplay with Ewen Glass. The cinematographer for the film was Ita Zbroniec-Zajt. So good to be back here home on www.melissacoates.com!
I know its been some time since my last update, but I did make the last one a BIG one with a 30 photo gallery and 2 video updates, and this one will be a BIGGGG one as well! 50 plus hotttt pix of me in the jacuzzi in my leopard print bikini! I'm feeling WILD! Come and see - hot, wet and sexy.
Speaking of wild, I had one AMAZING trip visiting Nepal - this was my first visit of the 3rd World Country, and it really was a novel experience - very raw, very real. Kinda dug down deep to my roots on this one! I'm going to post a longer feature in the WRESTLING section of my website in the next few days as I get more photos put together...I've been pretty jetlagged by the 13 hour difference and the over 25 flying hours alone, spread across 5 different flights to get to and from Atlanta to Kathmandu, no tto mention time sitting in airports or sitting for 6 hours on the runway in Turkey when we had engine trouble on the way from Dehli India to Brussels Belgium on the way back home! But I have lots to talk about and lots to great photos to show you, so check back here in a few days to see the photos. It was such a fantastic trip, with such fantastic travelling/wrestling buddies: Dan, Hartely "Bret" Jacko Jackson, Fugo, Faith, Lady Cheyenne, Big Vito (who was involved in starting up a HUGE riot in Kathmandu last year that made international news), The Great Malaki, and the man who put the tour together, war hero, wrestling star and Johnny Rodz trainee The Himalayan Tiger. I owe Tiger much thanks for inviting me on this tour. It was an honor to bring part of the Western world to the Himalayans, and to entertain 30 000 fans over the course of 2 shows! What a rush to hear that many people pop all at once! I was very popular becuase of my blond hair, tan and toned physique - I have never felt more like Hulk Hogan with that many people cheering. It's an experience I will NEVER forget! Heres a couple of pix. Look for full gallery and story in the next few days. I did an interesting interview about the tour for Inside Wrestling Radio Friday on WLBG radio and WLBG.com hosted by my friends Rikki Regal and Charlie Lane. You can check it out at www.wlbg.com
Tomorrow I am at the Prince George High School at 7801 Laural Spring Roads in singles action for Ground Xero Wrestling in Prince George VA. Go past www.GXWwrestling.com for full details and ticket info, bell time is at 6 pm.
Good to be back on www.melissacoates.com, and back in North America!

Day in the life Video
Happy Valentine's Day!
I did a special photo shoot last weekend in Baltimore with long time friend and photographer from the wrestling business Greg Greenlund, while working at the Baltimore Celebfest. So here's my Valentine's gift to you - me in a black lacey bra and panty set, with little red hearts all over the fabric and 2 big rhinestone hearts for accents. Sweet little gallery for the MEMBERS. And here's a sample shot or two.
I had such a great Saturday in Baltimore at the Celeb Fest with Terry Funk, Manny Fernandez, Axel Rotten, Danny Doring, Little Guido, Dawn Marie, Shane Douglas, Thomas Simpson, Telly Bistis (friend of mine and owner of Title Match Wrestling, Telly brought me and Manny in to be at his booth with him), and so many other wrestling superstars! Here's a pic of some of us having fun after the convention at a little restaurant/bar across the street from the Best Western. Terry, Manny and Telly kept me laughing ALL day long! Got to love the personalities involved in the wrestling business, very very colorful to say the least!
Plus in the members area in the past week my webmaster has put up 4 (!!!) videos! In the MEMBERS VIDEO area, you will see a cool little music video set to Keisha's "Tic Toc" song. Its called "A Day in the Life of Melissa Coates" and as a special bonus, Im also posting it here:
And there's my exclusive "Bubble Bath Interview", a new segment I'll be doing from time to time here on www.melissacoates.com. Nothing sexier than putting my hair up and lounging in a hot bath of bubbles! And wait till you hear some of the questions I was asked, and of course I answered! The Bubble Bath Interview plus 2 new wrestling matches will be available separate from the members section in my special DOWNLOAD area of melissacoates.com, if you really have something specific you want to see, but can't afford to join my members area, you get to see select videos for a fraction of the price in my download area. But if you can join www.melissacoates.com, you really CAN'T lose...there's TONS of hot galleries, posing videos and ass-kicking wrestling matches as well! All for just $14.95 per month, and at least 2 new updates a month!
In the MEMBERS WRESTLING area are two new matches. One is a match I did versus the Windy City Champion Faith in Chicago IL, and the other is from the Jenny Lyon tribute show from April 24, 2010 in Penn Laird VA. This show was set up in support of breast cancer, and a whole slew of reality stars from Beauty and the Geek, Survivor, and others were there (Billy Garcia was one of the biggest names there), and professional wrestlers donated their time and energy to this worthy cause. D'Lo Brown, Maven, me and more took part in this huge event. I had some pretty cool interaction with one of the guys from Beauty and the Geek, need-less-to-say I got him good! Check out the video and see for yourself!
Speaking of the Windy City, this Sat Feb 19th I'll be back at POWW entertainment with my old friends Trevor and Jimmy Blaze, taking part in women's tag team action. Nikki and I will team up against the evil duo of Melanie Cruise and Taylor Made! The show will be at the Holiday Inn on 7800 Kingery Dr in Willowbrook IL, bell time is 7 pm. For full details go past www.powwentertainment.com. Also check out this beautiful poster they made advertising the event.
As many of you know, there's been some interest in my playing in the Lingerie Football League (www.lflus.com). I did a tryout with the Philadelphia Passion team last November, and it went quite well. Unfortunately I wasn't able to balance out the practices with my wrestling schedule so I didn't end up playing last season, but I did get to every game I could to support the girls from the Passion. Last sunday Feb 6th I was out in Las Vegas for the Lingerie Bowl to see the girls take on last year's champions, the Los Angeles Temptation. In a heart breaking game, the Passion lost by one point, 26 to 25. You will never meet a team of sweeter girls, quarterback Christy Bell is a sweetheart as is Marirose Roach, who had just an AMAZING season. There's a good chance i will be a part of the Passion next season, so be sure to keep an eye on this team of hardworking football phenoms! I loved football as a little girl, and its so amazing years later to have this kind of opportunity to play legit TACKLE football. This is no pillow fight! This is straight up, hard-hitting football!
I actually was contacted last week by ESPN 680 in Louisville hosted by Bob Valvano to do an interview on the Lingerie Football League. I'm always happy to promote women's sports and things I believe in, so here's the interview for you to take a listen to. And I hope to see you at LFL games next season!
Hope to see you in Willowbrook IL next Sat!

I also was flattered to be chosen by my friend Steve Gerweck from www.gerweck.com to be DIVA of the DAY on www.gerweck.net. Steve sent me one of his company Tshirts, and I got scissor happy and created this nice little garment that I am wearing in a couple of shots here. I'm thinking maybe I should become a seamstress! LOL. Thanks Steve, I love the shirt and I love your website! Its one of the best out there and soooo informative!
Don't forget to come past the Baltimore Fan fest! I hope to see you all there!
January 9, 2011
Hello and welcome to my first update for 2011!
First off, I want to wish you all the best for 2011, here's hoping its a better year than last year!
I've got a smoking new gallery in the MEMBERS area, I'm getting into those earth tones this time. I'm wearing a little camoflage bikini and a brown FORD TOUGH tshirt. I do drive a mustang after all. Love 'em!

Next confirmed event is the Baltimore Celebrity Fest, wrestlers, football players and other sports stars on Sat Feb 12th at the Best Western BWI on 6755 Dorsey Rd in Elkridge MD 21075. Terry Funk, Baby Doll, Raven, so many others in the house! I'll be at the Title Match Wrestling booth autographing 8 x 10s and posing for photos. See www.bmorecelebfest.com for more info.
Hope my gallery passes the test!
December 30, 2010
December 17, 2010
Well I hope everybody is doing well, and that you all have something to look forward to for the Holidays! If you don't here's hoping my new gallery in the members area will warm your heart. I haven't done a Holiday-themed gallery in some time, but this year I was feeling a little more festive than usual...check me out in my little red santa hat and minidress. Santa can always use a little help spreading the holiday cheer, right? And a girls' got to be dressed right for the occassion!
I've had a busy December so far with shows and a lot of travelling. Last week I made my return after almost 5 years to Allentown, PA for WXWC4. It was good to back. "FINALLY! Melissa Coates has come back to Allentown!" (in my best Rock imitation). I have great memories of my time training at the Wild Samoan Training Center with Moms and Pops (Lynn and Afa of course, whose neice Timea is currently kicking some butt on WWE). I had a pretty good feud going with top indy wrestler Mercedes Martinez (number 3 for 2010 in the PWI Female 50) including a WICKED cage match back in early 2006, and I for one am looking forward to resuming that feud at WXW. Mercedes lost her title last Sat Dec 4th to newcomer Clarissa, and while she was packing up her stuff, I took that opportunity to gloat at her loss, and to let her know that It's Back On! I'll keep you updated on my next event for WXWC4 (www.wxwc4.com). Should be soon.
Last Sat Dec 11, I was a guest at the K and S Wrestlefest at the Philly airport Ramada. I was sitting with Thomas Rivera (Mambo) at his Wrestling Reunion table with Japan legend Jushin Thunder Liger. Despite fighting a cold, I still managed to do some great networking and catch up with a lot of old friends. Matt Hardy, Axl Rotten, Perry Saturn, a rare appearance by ECW valet Kimona, Horace Hogan, Raven and Lodi (two of my costars from the Ultimate Death Match film I did a year ago, still waiting on its imminent release) , Bill Apter, The Iron Sheik, my old wrestling coach Dr Tom Prichard, Jillian Hall (who I used to bodyguard at WWE developmental OVW), Tiffany, and so many more! It was also great to see my old wrestling partner Luke Gallo (when we worked together at WWE developmental Deep South, he was the Freakin' Deacon, and I was the Bag Lady), and have a little laugh over our old gimmick. WWE did take a look at it, but ended up thinking it was too 1980s unfortunately. But it sure was a lot of fun! "The sexy Bag Lady" is what I was known as, lol. I've done 2 interviews in the past month where the interviewers specifically asked me about that gimmick, so even though to be honest it wasn't my favorite, it apparently intrigured a lot of fans. Not sure, but maybe at some point there should be a revival? Never say Never, right?
My long time friend Georgous George Frankenstein (WCW valet to Randy Savage/original ECW valet) was at the convention also, and after an hour or so we joined forces to do the "2 Blondes, Double your Pleasure" photo deal. We turned out some pretty interesting shots, to say the least! I've posted some of them here (George can be pretty wild, couldn't post ALL of them LOL!). I'm thinking we are a pretty good combination. What do you think?
I was also due to do a wrestling show for WSU that night in Dunellen NJ, and my business associate and friend Mambo offered to give me a ride up to the show. Unfortunately I never made the show...after the convention I ended up eating what turned out to be bad chicken, and got really REALLY sick. It was just terrible, I don't want to get graphic here, but it was not pretty, and its 3 days later and I'm only starting to feel better now. Thank god Mambo was with me, he really looked out for me, he called the promoter to let him know the situation, and he and his wife babied me during the worst of it. Thank you Mambo! A big hug and a kiss too!
I was also a model at his Wrestling Reunion event last Sept where I sat with Magnum T.A. and Tully Blanchard, so Mambo and I have a great business relationship and friendship. So let me take this opportunity to thank him for being such a wonderful person.
I also need to extend an apology to the fans who were expecting to see me at the show in Dunellen NJ. I am soooo sorry. I wouldn't miss a show unless it truly was serious, and this was serious. Again, I am truly sorry. I am also sorry to the promoter for having to miss his show, things were really beyond my control Saturday.
Fans! I promise to make it up to you! I have plenty of shows coming up the rest of the month, including a show Dec 30 in Freehold NJ for Matt Borne ("Doink the Clown') You can go to his website www.fazoocrew.com for full details. TNA star and friend Stevie Richards will be in the house, Danny Inferno, Danny Doring, Erik the Escort, Brittany Force, Mo Sexton, and mo(re)! LOL. I hope to see you there! Please come and any of the fans who came out to the WSU I couldn't make, I will give you one of my autographed 8x10s. And a big kiss! :)
As well this weekened Sat Dec 18th, I will be in Reidsville NC for SCWA wrestling (www.scwawrestling.com), taking on their Ladies Champion Persephone. Last time I worked with Persephone we were a tag team, and she really got in my face at the end of the match when she got pinned by Allison Danger. So this match on Saturday has been a looooong time coming, I owe her! Doors open at 6, bell time is at 7.
In other news, I'll be featured in a short independent film called "The Story of Ian" I have a pretty comical part in this, I'll fill you in on the details when I have some idea when the film is going to be finished!
Enjoy the cute new Christmas gallery, and keep warm!!!

've got something special to warm you up as the weather gets colder!
This beautiful gallery a friend of mine shot of me in The City of Brotherly and Sisterly Love, Philadelphia, early last Saturday morning before I headed off to kick some ass at the huge WSU pay-per-view event.
I call this gallery "STARS'N'STRIPES VERSION 2.0". Hope you like it! My friend did an amazing job with his photography, its not his usual line of work, and wow did it ever turn out nice! I think it's the model right? ;)
Hope you like it!
And don't forget to come see me on Sat Nov 20th in Dover MD for ICW Pro Wrestling at the Dover Elks 200 in Saulsbury MD. Doors open at 6 pm. Full details at www.thewrestlingnation.com

November 5, 2010
Hello everyone! Welcome back to MelissaCoates.com!
I've been busier than ever, which is just great, and I've got some nice new shots in the FREE WRESTLING section of the site. You can see shots of me at Maryland Championship Wrestling from an exciting 3 way with up-and-comer Mia Yim, and former WWE Ladies and Diva's Champion Mickey James. And from Title Match Wrestling in Elizabeth Town NC where I teamed up with ECW Original Christian York to take on the ever-virtuous ManScout and his young friend Cody.
I recently toured Puerto Rico, and spent an exciting weekend wrestling for Carlos Colon and WWC. I took on Ladies Champion Black Rose, and did we ever have some great physical matches! This girl is very athletic and has some good muscle too, definitely plan on heading back to the Island soon and continuing this feud
Last Sat Oct 30, I had the pleasure of doing a wrestling event for Matt ("Doink") Borne at at 3,2 count in Freehold NJ for his new company Fazoo Crew Porductions. Very big and hot crowd for the fundraising event to raise money for the local soccer team. Matt opened my segment with a very cool and informative interview, and then we got into the details of my involvement with wrestling a man at his show. This is nothing new to me of course, but to Matt it was definitely something different! I'm used to this, and the fans love it, so it was a great opportunity for me. No complaining here! My original opponent Erik the Escort backed down, but the irritating and obnoxious Dan Da Man came out to take his place, and we went at it HARD! No mercy for me being a girl here! Dan was extremely rude and rightfully so the crowd of mostly kids got on him with a passion. In the end it was me on the winning end, so it turned out to be a good lesson for him. I posed with probably 50 kids during the show's intermission, handing out chokeslams all around! :) I'll be back at the FAZOO CREW again soon, and will post details.
And THIS SAT NOV 6th, get ready for a HUGE event! I'll be at the ACE arena in Union City NJ to take part in a ground breaking moment for WSU, as they go live for ippv. Many of the wrestling online mags will be in attendance and so will Pro Wrestling Illustrated magazine, which has an actual bound magazine AND an online magazine. At 3 pm is the Meet and Greet, with such women stars as me, ODB, Serena, Traci Brooks, Angel Orsini,Brittany Savage, Cindy Rogers, Rick Cataldo, Jazz, Mercedes Martinez, Sassy Stephie, and MORE! Then the first show is at 5:30 pm, and the second starts round 8:30. For $25 its a pretty amazing day! Go to www.wsuwrestling.com for full details and please come by!
Which brings us to the match I've posted in the MEMBERS area. Its from WSU last April where I took on WSU Heavyweight Champion Mercedez Martinez. Its a hard hitting, fast-paced match. Mercedes and I have some history, so we are pretty quick to hit moves on each other, or counter them as well. Its soooo important to study your opponents in this business! Got to be prepared!
Will have a lot more news to report soon, so come by often!

Got a nice short update here just to let you Canadians fans know I'll be at the Stirling Fairgrounds in Stirling Ontario Canada for CCW (Canadian Championship Wrestling, www.canadian-championship-wrestling.com) tomorrow Sat Aug 14th! There will be an autograph signing starting at 12 noon, then the show starts at 1 pm.
Last Sat Aug 7th I was in a women's tag team match for CCW at the CoolZ Warehouse in St Thomas Ontario, and wow, what a shock when I pulled up to the bar to see an absolutely HUGE poster of myself on the front window of the bar. CCW Promoter Jay sure knows how to make a girl feel good! :)
My partner Holly Hilton and I were taking on TNA Knockout Jaime D and her partner Cherry Bomb (one of my fellow models from the "Nearly Naked Ladies of Wrestling 2010" calendar). The crowd sure was hot to see me and Jaime go at it. I threw Cherry Bomb around like a little rag doll, which really P O'd Jaime D, so she came in to take me on, but - haha- I used some sneaky strategy to get past her, and then Holly and I took turns showing Jaime D who's boss in the ring. Jaime rolld out of the way on my leg drop though, and managed to tag out. Holly took some good hits from Cherry Bomb who was a house on fire in the ring, and as Cherry was about to win with her "cherry popper" X-factor finish, I ran in to break up the pin. Jaime D came running in and grabbed me by the neck!!!, and we exchanged chokes in the corner, as Holly got rolled up by Cherry Bomb for the 1,2,3!
I don't like to be paired up with losers, so I turned my back on Holly and persuaded Jaime D and Cherry Bomb that I really was an all-right girl! :) We all posed for pictures in the ring while Holly dragged her beat up and humiliated butt to the locker room! :)
Tomorrow I'm up against bodybuilder Mr Atlantis in CCW intergender action. Should be interesting...
And for MEMBERS!!! I've got a great match up for you - this is from NWA ANARCHY in Cornelia GA. I'm having a rematch with Crystal Rose, and boy did I let her have it in this match. Fans of sheer power will enjoy this one! I got her up in a gorilla press, vertical suplex, slam her down in a brutal pump handle slam, and then finish her with the Facelift. Crystal does get a couple of arm submissions on me from her MMA background, but when I'm mad, I'm crazy strong, and I got out of them! Good try though Crystal! I'll give you that!
Love you much!

June 14, 2010
Great news!? I have received quite the honor!!! In the September 2010 issue of Pro Wrestling Illustrated, Editor-in-Chief of PWI magazine, Frank Krewda, honored me with the top award for "Best Pecs" in professional wrestling (Krew Cuts, pg 16-17). I beat out a rather formidable list of women, including TNA Knockouts Angelina Love, Madison Rayne (and current TNA Knockouts champion), and former TNA Knockout and Playboy model Traci Brooks, and Playboy model April Hunter. And that's QUITE a line up of pecs...to say the least! Thank you PWI, for noticing my assets. They don't call me "CoatesWrack" for nothing, you know! :) I also made the top 5 "Best Hardbodies" in the wrestling business as well. :) It always feels good to have hard work noticed! And here's a gallery showing you what it's all about: 35 steaming hot pix by the jacuzzi! Come back soon!Muah!xoxo Melissa

Here's a few pix from last weekend I spent up in Detroit, first with one of my biggest fans Curt at the Motor City Comicon in Novi MI, and then from the Metro Pro Wrestling show from that Sat evening May 15th in Wyandotte MI. Lots and lots of stars at the convention! Comic book authors, amazing artists, Lillian Garcia, Dawn Marie, Molly Holly, Raven, Lita, Playboy models, movie stars such as Tia Carerre, Adam West, and Eric Roberts who was sitting at the booth on the other side of mine. On one side of me was Raven, and on the other side was Playboy model/athlete Mia St John. Eric Roberts who is of course Julia Roberts' brother turned out to be a real cool guy. I loved his creepiness in the film "Star 80" about the murder of Playboy Playmate Dorthy Stratton, and his performances in "The Specialist" with Sylvester Stallone, and "The Pope of Greenwhich Village" with Mickey Rourke. He actually has a HUGE film coming out in August with an absolutely AMAZING lineup, including Arnold Schwarzenegger, Dolph Lundren, Sylvester Stallone and Stone Cold Steve Austin! The film is called The Expendables, and is an upcoming ensemble action/war film written by Dave Callaham and SylvesterStallone, and directed by Stallone. Filming began on March 28, 2009, in Rio de Janeiro, New Orleans, and Los Angeles and is expected to be released on August 13, 2010. The film pays tribute to the blockbuster action films of the 1980s and early '90s, and stars an array of action veterans from those decades (such as Stallone himself, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis, Dolph Lundgren, Mickey Rourke, and Jet Li) as well as more recent action stars such as Jason Statham, Terry Crews, Randy Couture, and Stone Cold Steve Austin. Both Steven Segal and Jean-Claude Van Damme were offered parts, but declined.
I have to be honest, I really loved the macho, joke cracking action heros of the late 80s/early 90s. Absolutely loved the Rocky movies and The Terminator films (enjoyed Rambo a lot too). Action heros just aren't the same anymore, and I really miss it. So I'm definitely going to be seeing this new film. Stone Cold plays Eric Roberts' bodyguard in the film.Should be a great move for his acting career.
MEMBERS!!! I have a new match up in the WRESTLING area. This match is from May 2 for AWF in King of Prussia PA, where I had to take on the "Indy Legend Killer" Helter Skelter, and show him why they call me "The CoatesWrack"! :) Come back soon and often!
Check out a smoking hot video of Melissa posing in a sexy red dress.

Last weekend May 8th, I had a great time at the Bed of Nails Wrestling
Convention in White Plains NY. I got to catch up with some awesome people
I haven't seen in quite some time. I love the wrestling business, its
so much like a great big family! Some of the stars there were Balls
Mahoney, Velvet Sky, Angelina Love, Jerry Lynn, Vampiro, Hacksaw Jim
Duggan, Ox Baker, Davari, Shelley Martinez, Greg "The Hammer"
Valentine, and the "Innovator of Violence" himself, Tommy
Dreamer. Here's a couple of shots of me in my pink tube dress, so comfortable!

Welcome back to www.melissacoates.com! So good to see you here!
I've been a very very busy girl! Which my father says is great, becuase it keeps me out of trouble! :)
I had a great time at the K&S Wrestlefest last Sat April 10th in Carteret NJ. I sat with my friend Evan Ginzburg, whose wedding party I attended the week before. (Evan just married a Korean woman, and as he put it, I was the "biggest and blondest person" at that wedding party! LOL!) Matt 'Doink the Clown" Borne and his wife were sitting beside Evan and me, and I have to say Matt is one hilarious guy! Made for one interesting day! And with Ox Baker across from us, it was all the more interesting! Ox is soooo tall, and his elbows are in just the perfect spot for hitting me right in the chest (ouch!) every time he made his way down the aisle! Thanks Ox! He did give me a nice 8x10 of himself, so I guess he made it up to me. The day got off to an even weirder start, as I made my way to the convention in a cab I shared with a woman heading to the jail, a twentysome guy headed to a church for a funeral, and then there's me, the big buff platinum blonde girl, headed to a wrestling convention! Talk about an odd mix of people in one vehicle!
Traci Brooks, Rob Terry, Jim Powers (still looking buff!), Harvey Whippleman, The Brooklyn Brawler, Mae Young, Paul Bearer, Marty Jannetty, Deuce and Domino, Payton Banks, Scott Casey, and sooo many more were there. I posted a few photos of me and fans up in the free wrestling area of the site. I was all decked out in my Vegas Dress, which I have now dubbed my "Dancing with the Stars" dress, after seeing the amazing dress that Pam Anderson is wearing in her Dancing with the Stars promo shots.
Speaking of Pam Anderson, I have a very "Pammy" looking (so I've been told) gallery up in the MEMBERS area! Eight big pages (!) of me in a low cut chocolate brown blouse and a tight black pencil skirt and heels. I'm wearing shades in a lot of the shots too, so its a very cool photo set, and quite different from a lot of the photo shoots I've done in the past. This one is much more glamor and fashion oriented.
Last Saturday April 3rd, I made a surprise
visit to the NWS/WSU King and Queen of the Ring show in Kearny NJ as
a opponent for the WSU champion Merecedes Martinez. Merecedes
is a great champion, but I think I'd make a BETTER one! It's
been years since we've wrestled each other (We had a feud running at
Afa the Wild Samoan's WXW promotion in Allentown PA, including a cage
match!), and though I've gotten tougher and stronger in the ring, Mercedes
still has a few years experience on me...she pulled out a new submission
during our match and ended up getting the better of me. That's
just fine Mercedes, you enjoy that championship belt a little longer...it
will be mine soon enough!
Last Wednesday April 21st I had a great time doing www.trashtalkingradio.com with host Mike Trash! Check out the site for the hour and a half interview, and "the chair-swinging freak" himself, ECW Original Balls Mahoney joins us at the end of the interview. Balls always has some real interesting things to say.
Wednesday at 9 pm I'll be on The Real Side of Wrestling blogtalk radio along with Greg Gagne, son of the legendary amateur and professional wrestler Verne Gagne. Although he never quite achieved the status of heavyweight champion like his father, Gagne was a two-time American Wrestling Association (AWA) tag-team champion with partner "Jumping" Jim Brunzell (later one-half of the WWF's "Killer Bees" combo in the 1980s). Together the "High Flyers" ruled the AWA tag-team title in the late 1970s and early 1980s defeating several teams, including one led by now Minnesota Govenor Jesse "The Body" Gagne had several shots at AWA Heavyweight Champion Nick Bockwinkel, but always came up short. Gagne quit the sport in the early 90s shortly after the demise of the AWA. The call in number is (347) 994-2740, and the link to the show is at www.blogtalkradio.com/realsidemedia
And this weekend, April 17 and 18th: I'm at the New England Hall of Fame and convention in Providence Rhode Island. Come see Bryan "Adam Bomb" Clarke, "Heart Throb" Antonio Thomas, Doink the Clown (Matt Borne), Larry Zbyszko, Rick Martel, Jimmy Snuka, Kenny Dykstra, Dangerous Danny Davis, Tim White, Ox Baker, Joe Savoldi, John Cena Sr, and more!!! Doors open Sat at 9 am for the convention, and runs till 5:30 pm, and on sunday the convention continues from 2 pm till 4 pm, then the New England Hall of Fame induction runs from 4 pm till 8 pm. The show is at the Brotherhood of the Holy Chost Charity Hall on 59 Brightridge Ave in East Providence RI. I'll be there Saturday from about 1:30 pm till 5:30, then again from 2 till 8 pm on Sunday. I'll have sexy 8x10s available, as well as a 5 match compilation DVD of my best matches!
Hope to see you in Providence!

Happy Valentine's Day!!!!
I hope it will be a wonderful day for you, and those of you who are going lone star, maybe I can be your Valentine!
I've put up a 20 pic gallery of me in a pink polka dot bikini in the MEMBERS area, as well as an exciting tag team match from last year with me and Shannon Ballard (one of my first trainers) against rookie Davina Rose and Shannon's twin Shane Ballard. This is a great match with some innovative moves, plus guess who gets the 1,2,3 after catching Davina flying from the top rope!!!! The photos were shot by Toronto's Andrea Kellaway last Dec for the 2010 "Nearly Naked Ladies of Wrestling" Calendar (www.thaOshow.com). Really beautiful work shot simply on a white background.
I was up in Brooklyn last Sat Feb 6th for a convention and wrestling show for Forgotten Championship Wrestling. Brutus Beefcake (one of my co-stars in Ultimate Death Match 2 film which has just been completed), Kid USA (who was the stunt double in The Wrestler film), Romeo Roselli, Evan Ginzburg and more were in attendance. Luscious Johnny Valiant was there for the event, and amused as all with his comedy act. He told a funny story about rooming with Andre the Giant, some reference to a baseball bat (!!!????)
Its always a pleasure meeting fans and hanging out with friends. I've posted a pic here of me at the convention with a friend of mine who came by to chat.
My next convention event will again involve me working with publicist Evan Ginzburg:
Tagteam Promotions Presents Largest Legends Convention Ever To Hit Southeast- Legendsmania!
It’s going to be the biggest and best legends convention ever
to hit Atlanta and the Southeast. And fans from around the world are
making their plans now to be here.
8 time NWA Tag Team
Champions "Rock and Roll" Express, Ricky Morton
and Robert Gibson,
I'll be sharing a booth with Evan Ginzburg, Publicist of Legendsmania, and Associate Producer of award-winning The Wrestler movie starring Mickey Rourke. Evan will be selling his memorabilia and copies of his book, and I'll have autograph photos and dvds available. Be sure to stop by and say hello! I'd love to see you there!
On Feb 8th, I was interviewed by host Gary Scudero for his program "Talents Unlimited", an interview show on Queens Public Access. The show airs Fridays at 5 pm on Channel 34 and repeated on Fridays at 9 pm on Channel 56 on Queens Public Access. For info about the show you can contact Gary at firstname.lastname@example.org. It really was an interesting time, we talked about my current occupation as a fitness model/pro wrestler/actress, and then my former background at a top 10 in the world professional bodybuilder. I even brought one of my Ms Olympia medals up to the show, and a few of my biggest most memorable magazine covers, features, and posters. It's a half hour show, and we actually RAN OUT of TIME! So much to talk about and so many cool clips to show! So Gary plans on having me come back sometime in the near future. I'll keep you posted.
As well I was interviewed by John Gray on The Real Side of Wrestling, blogtalk radio, as part of the promotion for the LegendsMania convention March 12 and 13th in Atlanta GA. Evan Ginzburg was also interviewed on the program. Lots of ground covered, including my time at Ohio Valley Wrestling while it was a developmental, my background in professional bodybuilding, tennis, and fitness modelling, and my current modelling/pro wrestling/acting projects. We also discuss current use of women at the higher levels of professional wrestling. Listen to link here:

I hope you all are having a fantastic start to the year 2010!
I sure am, and if you aren't having a ball as of yet, maybe I have a few things that can turn things around for you!
In the MEMBERS area of melissacoates.com, you'll find a whole gallery including the two smoking hot shots from above I did in Toronto last November as part of a calendar shoot.
As you can see, photographer Andrea Kellaway, her makeup artist and I made good use of a roll of black electrical tape. And ouch! you are right! It did hurt when I took that tape off, lol! Had to rip it off quick, like taking off a band-aid. My pain is your pleasure, in this case! Maybe one day, I'll return the favor...........
The shots were part of a shoot for a 2010 calendar in support of breast cancer. 100 per cent of the proceeds are going towards research for a cure. The calendar was put together on behalf of charity so unfortunately it wasn't ready to go before the start of the year, but those of you who want to support a great cause and either don't have a 2010 calendar yet or want a much hotter one (LOL) than the one you have now, can pick up the "Nearly Naked Ladies of Wrestling Calendar" through www.thaOshow.com or visit the online store at lulu.com/thaOshow, Some of the featured models are me, Kelly Couture, Dahyna, April Hunter (who also is a contributing photographer to the calendar)
This is a 14 month calendar, Jan. 2010 - Feb. 2011, and is priced at $29.99 It is an over sized 13.5" X 19", printed on heavy 100 pound glossy paper and professionally coil-bound. All orders are shipped within 3 business days. Its produced by The O show, an online weekly program coming from Toronto. Copyright 2010
